Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born Elizabeth Jane Hurley) is an English actress, model and the former Hugh Grant girlfriend. She was famous by the late 1990s. In the 1990s, when Grant became the focus of media attention because of his global box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in a plunged black Versace gown that was held in place by silver safety pins. The actress gained immediate publicity from the media. One of the highlights of Hurley's professional career has been her involvement with the company that makes cosmetics Estee Lauder. They offered Hurley the first model opportunity at age 29 and has used Hurley as a model in their products, particularly perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition as well as Pleasures since 1995. In the movies that are a hit with fans, such as International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she portrayed Vanessa Kensington. Some critics accused the song as a sly reference to homosexuality and others believed that the song's raunchy lyrics were meant to appeal to male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl became an international number-one single because of its mix of sexual enticement and a refined melodic tune. It also helped her sell more albums, including One of the Boys. Hot N Cold is a very popular track that is a second. Perry also wrote a large portion of the lyrics on the album.
