With the Squid Game's first Netflix show, Hoyeon, a South Korean model and actress was a hit with the world. Hoyeon was nominated to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress, and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance of a Female Actor In the Drama Series. Hoyeon, who is in Myeonmok-dong (a suburb located in Seoul) was able to begin her journey as an independent model at Seoul Fashion Week 2011. She took part in Seoul's fourth series of Next Top Model and placed as the second runner-up. It was in 2016, that she got her international debut as she was awarded an exclusive deal in partnership with Louis Vuitton. Since then, she's participated in various campaigns and have walked on the runway for designers such Chanel, Fendi, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, and Moschino to name just a several.
