Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire, a quiet community situated in the West Island of Montreal is located in Montreal and is home to many small enterprises. Most people do not know what the term means and assume it's an independent Island to the west of Montreal. In fact, it is a part of the West Island includes the entire part of the island from Lachine up to the west. It is often cited as the place of birth for Amanda Brugel, but while it's true that she was born there however, her time there was not long. Brugel grew in Courtice close to Oshawa. The first goal she had was to dance, but her growing years meant that she was able to outgrow the dancers she was with. According to an article from the Toronto Star, she confessed, "In heels I am 6 foot 1 inch." When I was outgrowing my male counterparts I cut off. A lot of former dancers go into acting. In Brugel's situation her encouragement came from an instructor of drama in the high school. It was her teacher who advised her to audition for the role of Anne in the school's annual production. She auditioned and eventually was chosen to play the leading role on the show Anne of Green Gables. The Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theater Program and she graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in art degree in fine arts.
